About Mrs. Lee

Howdy! I teach English, Test Prep/College Readiness, and Speech at Brazos Christian. This will be my 9th year at BCS. I also advise the School Life Team and the TAPPS Academics Team.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in English from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction Literacy Studies from UT Arlington. My teaching certification is in English Language Arts & Reading grades 8-12. I am also a certified Reading Specialist.

I am originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, but I’ve lived in Bryan/College Station for the past 18 years. My husband Neal and I have two kids: Rachel will be a sophomore at the University of North Texas and Mikey will be a freshman at Texas A&M. We attend Grace Bible Church (Anderson campus) where I am involved in the worship ministry.


Interests: Reading, writing, poetry, movies, and music

Favorite books/series: The Little Prince by Antoine Saint-Exupéry, The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, Harry Potter J.K. Rowling, and everything by Jane Austen

Current and recent reads: Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner, The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown, and How to Fight Racism by Jemar Tisby.
